| 4 comments

mountain biking South Africa

We rode the new trails at Welvanpas the other day and they are faaaaantastic! The guys responsible for all the hard work are inviting you to sample them so make sure you get out there for some of the best trails around.

This is the deal:

Join us on 4 December 2010 for the official opening of our new trails. The routes are as follows:

Blue Route (15 km)
This route has been made easier to accommodate less technical riders.

White Route (29 km)
This one is for the fit and technically advanced riders.

Yellow Route (17 km)
This one is also for the fit riders, with some technical sections.

Permits cost R30 pp. We will be selling beer and boerewors rolls. Riding starts at 7h00, and you can join throughout the day.

Directions:
Take Church Street, which becomes the Bainskloof Road going out of Wellington;
After Bovlei Cellar (which is on your right), you take the first road left;
Immediately right, then right at the T-junction;
This road becomes a gravel road, continue until you get to Welvanpas.

See you there!

    Derek, I believe it is. The coffee shop is closed on some days but just leave your trail entry in the old milk can.
